I'm Anne Wilfong, RDN, LD, CEDS, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and owner of Wilfong Nutrition LLC, offering non-diet nutrition counseling in Austin, Texas and virtually across Texas. I specialize in supporting adults with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and food anxiety, as well as clients navigating perimenopause, menopause, oncology nutrition support, and nutrition on GLP-1 medications.
My approach is weight-neutral, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, focused on reducing food guilt, rebuilding trust with your body, and developing nourishment strategies without rigid food rules.
In sessions, this looks like starting with your history: what's already been tried, what hasn't worked, and why. Most clients I see have already cycled through calorie counting, elimination diets, and rigid meal plans, so we build something different: flexible enough to survive a birthday party, a stressful week, or a holiday table, without a list of "off-limits" foods. I don't hand out a meal plan and call the work done. My job is figuring out, with you, what sustainable actually looks like for your body and your life.
I hold degrees in Business and Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin, and have served as a guest lecturer on eating disorder treatment there. You can also find me in the NEDA provider directory.
